This Privacy Policy describes how Wakey ("we", "us", or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Device Information

We collect an anonymous device identifier (Device ID) to provide our services. This identifier is generated locally on your device and cannot be used to identify you personally.

1.2 App Usage Data

We store the following data to provide app functionality:

• Alarm settings (time, sound, puzzle type, difficulty)
• Streak data (consecutive successful wake-ups)
• Points and achievements
• Subscription and purchase status
• Referral codes
• Wake-up check results

1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Your location data
• Your contacts or photos
• Health or biometric data
• Browsing history or data from other apps

2. How We Use Your Information

The data we collect is used solely to:

• Provide and improve the alarm clock functionality
• Track your streaks and points
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Enable the referral system
• Process Hard Mode penalties (if enabled by you)

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

3.1 Supabase

We use Supabase as our backend infrastructure for storing anonymous user data (referral codes, streak data). Supabase servers are located in the EU. Supabase Privacy Policy

3.2 RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase data provided by Apple's App Store. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

3.3 Stripe

If you enable Hard Mode, Stripe is used to process penalty payments. Stripe processes payment information (card details, Apple Pay) directly — we never see or store your payment details. Stripe Privacy Policy

3.4 Google AdMob

The free version of Wakey displays ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device information for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your iOS Settings. Google Privacy Policy

4. Data Storage and Security

Most of your data is stored locally on your device. The data synced to our servers (via Supabase) is limited to anonymous identifiers and app usage data. All data transfers are encrypted using TLS/SSL.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as you use the app. If you delete the app, your local data is automatically removed. To request deletion of any server-side data, please contact us at support@wakey-app.com.

6. Children's Privacy

Wakey is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR and other applicable laws, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to data processing
• Data portability
